The cure for exhaustion is whole heartedness. David Whyte
Exhaustion is a warning detection system. What aren’t you giving TO yourself or OF yourself that is causing your exhaustion?
It’s possible you need to give yourself more time to relax, to exercise, or eat well. Maybe you need to give yourself permission to give up some commitment that no longer serves you.
Or maybe, you’re giving yourself to the wrong endeavors. You’re giving your energy to work that isn’t worthy of you or that isn’t your greatest passion. Your soul is half asleep when you should be awake and daydreaming about what it could be doing. Your soul is half awake when you should be asleep and dreaming about what it could be doing. No wonder you’re exhausted.
In this case, the cure for exhaustion is whole heartedness. The cure is to find what you can give your whole heart to, then give it. Wake up your soul.
Give, because you’re exhausted.
