There are three ways to teach a child. The first is by example, the second is by example, and the third is by example. Albert Schweitzer
You already know that your children learn their important life lessons from what watching what you do– not from listening what you tell them to do. If you believe your children’s lives will be better if they are givers as adults, let them see you give. Let them hear you talk about giving. Let them be involved in the decisions about who to give to, when to give, and how much to give.
Make your lessons about giving explicit, so they will grow into naturally generous adults.
Give, because your children are watching, and you want them to learn the right lessons.
