60 percent of your body weight is water. Every system in your body depends on water. Your body needs water to flush toxins out of our vital organs, through your kidneys, and out of your body.
Water helps dissolve nutrients in the food we ate and then carries those nutrients to your cells. If you don’t have enough water, you can’t be efficient breaking down nutrients and delivering those nutrients to your cell and to the mitochondria that are creating energy for your body to use.
Even mild dehydration can cause headaches, drowsiness and constipation. It’s hard to give to others when you’re sleepy and have a headache.
You can’t even think as well without enough water– your brain is 75% water! Water is a good conductor of electricity and chemicals, and your brain’s job is to create and transmit electrical signals and hormones that tell the rest of your body what to do. Without enough water, those signals have trouble getting through.
Give yourself water, because you want more energy. You wants nutrients delivered to your body, and you want your brain to be working at it’s top capacity.
