Invitation

Do you donate or wish you did? Do you want the world to be a better place because you were here but not sure how to do it?? My friend Sharon started virtual giving circles to make it easy for people like us to make a difference, and I’m forwarding a brief message and video from her about the difference YOU can make in the world and some ideas about how to donate better. I’m a member of a giving circle, and I LOVE it. If you want to know more about it, just ask!

****
What issues do you care about? Does your heart break for abused and neglected animals? Do you believe it’s unjust that our veterans, who sacrifice for our well-being, suffer disproportionately high rates of suicide, mental illness, and homelessness? Do you think we must end extreme poverty so that everyone, no matter where they were born, has access to clean water, health care, and job opportunities?

Are you doing everything you’d like to support what you believe in? Maybe you feel

  • Powerless: I’m just one person. I’m too small to make a difference. I’m not a millionaire, what I can I really do?
  • Confused: Who should I donate to? Are they using it wisely?

Or maybe you say, “I’ll donate some day when I have more time and money.”

I used to feel that way, too, and I want you to know that donating money can be easy, affordable, and POWERFUL.

I recorded a short video on how you can make small but meaningful donations for the causes you care about most, because you owe it to yourself to make donations that matter.

Another Quote

Past the seeker as he prayed came the crippled and the beggar and the beaten. And seeing them… he cried, “Great God, how is it that a loving creator can see such things and yet do nothing about them?” God said, “I did do something. I made you.” Sufi Teaching

Yet Another Quote

“What we think or what we know or what we believe is, in the end, of little consequence. The only consequence is what we do.” John Ruskin
