What is money?
It means lots of different things to different people. Fundamentally, money is a tool. We receive money in exchange for our goods or our time. Then we use it to live.
More accurately, money is a tool we use to create our life.
What kind of life do you want?
If the life you want includes looking sharp, then you may use the tool of money to buy fashionable clothes. If you want a healthy life, then you may use money to buy more fruits and vegetables and a gym membership. If you want to live comfortably in retirement, then you use money to create future money.
Money is a tool. How you use your money shapes the life you are creating.
Creating a Better World
Do you want a world
- where everyone has access to clean water, health care, and economic opportunities?
- with clean water, clean air, and vibrant ecosystems?
- in which women are equal and can live without fear of physical harm?
A better world doesn’t happen. A better world happens because people do something about it. Whatever world you imagine, you must use the tools you have at your disposal to create that world.
When you donate money, you are doing something to create the world you believe should exist. And money assumes its rightful place in your world, as a servant and a tool to your greater good and a better world.
