“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.”
Desmond Tutu
This world is filled with pain, suffering, and injustice. In the face of all this hurt, you could feel hopeless and overwhelmed. There is too much need. The problems are too big.
There is too much darkness.
When you give, you create a little bit of light. You can’t fix everything, but you have helped something or someone. You’ve created a little bit of hope that things will get better and that someday there will be less pain, less suffering, and less injustice.
Give, because if you don’t, we have no hope that things will get better, and life without hope isn’t much of a life. Give, because we all need light in the darkness. We all need hope.
